Cash withdrawal at the end of the shift

Skimming large bills from the cash register towards the bank — as a separate wizard step in the shift-ending workflow.

At the end of a shift, not all takings should remain in the cash register—large bills usually go into the safe or to the bank. Servire offers a withdrawal step in the shift-ending workflow for this purpose: a clear wizard step records which amount is withdrawn and for what purpose.

After the cash count at the end of the shift, Servire asks: Do you want to withdraw cash? If so, enter the amount (e.g., €500.00) and select the destination: Bank, Vault, Owner, or Other with a free description.

The app logs the cash withdrawal as a cash book entry—this is included in the Z-report and the cash register history. The cash balance remaining after withdrawal is carried over as the opening balance for the next shift.

Keep the cash withdrawal receipt safe — when transporting cash to the bank, it serves as proof that the amount actually comes from day-to-day business and not from another source.

Cash withdrawal is optional—not every shift needs it. It's often performed weekly or at specific cash thresholds, depending on the business setup. The owner can define minimum thresholds in the web desk.
