Edit or delete printers

Adjust IP address, change print modes, or completely remove a decommissioned printer from the list.

Printer configurations are not static — IP addresses change, print modes are adjusted, printers are decommissioned. Servire makes all changes easy: a tap on the printer in the list opens the edit view.

Edit printer

Open Settings → Printers. Tap on the desired printer — the edit view will open with all fields: name, IP address, printer series, print modes. Change the desired field and confirm with the checkmark in the upper right corner.

In the edit view, at the very bottom, you'll find the red "Delete Printer" button. Tap it, confirm with "Yes," and the printer will be removed from the list. Any print jobs still in the pipeline will be stopped.

Before deleting, check the printer's print modes: if it is the only one for a particular mode (e.g., Z-report), activate this mode on another printer first — otherwise you will no longer be able to print this type of receipt.

Printer configurations are synced only on the device itself. If you use the same printers on multiple iPads, you must set up the printers on each device—the configuration is not shared via the cloud.
