Browse menu as a list
View the entire menu without being in order mode — for example, to check allergens or answer a guest's question.
Sometimes you need to quickly check: Is there pork in the burger? How much does the XL pizza cost? Instead of opening a table and using the menu there, there's a menu view for browsing without having to order anything.
Open menu
Open the overview (house icon) and tap on Menu. A list of all items will open — searchable, sorted by category, with allergens and prices.
Use the search field above to search by article name or order number. Tapping on an article displays details: description, allergens, prices per price category, and variants.
View or edit
How much you can do here depends on the "Manage articles" permission. With this permission, a plus button appears in the upper right corner next to the filter, opening the article editor for creating new articles, and a pencil icon appears in the detail view for editing. Without this permission, the list is read-only.
You cannot place orders from this list. To do so, switch to the table view or the quick checkout, which you can open via the "To-Go Order" entry in the action menu of the table overview.
This view is also practical in customer conversations — "What's in the stew?" — You open the menu directly, find the item, and read the description. It's faster than remembering or asking a colleague.
