Change price category before billing
Spontaneously switch to happy hour prices, employee rates or special offers — directly in the billing screen.
Some orders should be charged at a different price than the standard price: Happy Hour, employee discount, International Women's Day promotion, regular customer rates. You can change the price set for the entire booking using the price category selection on the billing screen.
Switch category
In the summary screen of the receipt, you'll find the Price Category section directly above the payment methods. The Regular option is pre-selected, meaning the standard prices assigned to the item are displayed. Tapping on a different category (e.g., Happy Hour, Employee) will immediately recalculate the receipt prices.
This section only appears if price categories are enabled in the settings and at least one category has been created. The owner maintains the list of categories in the web interface—they can assign individual prices to each item, which then apply when switching categories.
When changing price categories, the gross prices change — the VAT rates remain the same.
