Change price category before billing
Spontaneously switch to happy hour prices, employee rates or special offers — directly in the billing screen.
Some orders should be billed at a different price than the standard price: Happy Hour, employee discount, International Women's Day promotion, regular customer rates. You can change the price set for the entire booking using the price category selection on the billing screen.
Switch category
In the summary screen of the receipt—directly below the payment methods—you will find the Price Category section. Standard is selected by default. Tap on a different category (e.g., Happy Hour, Employee), and the receipt prices will be recalculated immediately.
The list of categories is maintained by the owner in the web desk — he can set individual prices for each item, which then apply when changing categories.
By default, each area (restaurant, terrace, bar) inherits the standard price category. If you want a different category permanently assigned to a specific area (e.g., a terrace with an outdoor seating surcharge), you can set this in the web interface—then you don't have to switch manually each time.
When changing price categories, the gross prices change—the VAT rates remain the same. The difference between the standard and special prices appears in the Z-report as a separately shown discount/surcharge value.
