Shift overview after completion
How to read the shift overview after completion
After a shift ends, the POS app displays the "shift overview". This only appears if the cash reconciliation assistant has run or the service POS system is active.
Times and sales
The first card shows the start, end, and duration of the shift, as well as who finished. The second card shows sales, total tips, your tip, and the number of payments. "Total tips" refers to the total for the entire shift, while "Your tip" is just your share.
Cash count and tips

Step 1
The cash balance card shows "target amount", "actual amount (counted)" and "difference".

Step 2
The tip card indicates how much cash tip should be taken from the till.
The target amount is the calculated expected balance, the actual amount is the money actually counted. The difference appears in green for a surplus, in red for a shortfall, and neutral for amounts less than one cent. If cash was withdrawn at the end of the shift, the line "Withdrawal" appears below.
The cash count card is only visible if a count has actually taken place; the tip card is only visible if the payout amount is greater than 0. Close the overview using the checkmark icon in the upper right corner.
