Structure the menu into appetizer, main course, and dessert. The kitchen receives each course separately at the correct time.

Courses are serving sets: items within a party are grouped into appetizer, main course, dessert (or any other stages). The kitchen prints each course individually and only after you approve it—perfect for multi-course menus.

Schritt 1 von 1

Step 1

Open the order, tap the party's three-dot menu and select Add courses.

In the submenu, you can choose between a single course (e.g., just an appetizer) or a complete course sequence (appetizer, main course, dessert in one go). The order is automatically divided into the respective sections.

Moving items between aisles

Tap on an individual item in the order — the details sheet will open. There you will find the option to move the item to a different aisle or lot.

Serving courses

When you submit your order, only the first course is initially sent to the kitchen. Once the appetizer has been served and you wish to order the main course, a separate submit button will appear for the next course.

The kitchen can control the time interval between courses using the course timer. This prevents the main course from being served while the appetizer is still hot on the table.

Courses don't require any prior setup in the web desk — you can create and name them spontaneously for each table. The default names appetizer/main course/dessert are just suggestions.
