View and complete open print jobs

Unprinted receipts remain stored on the iPad and can be reprinted or deleted in batches.

If a printer is offline or the Wi-Fi connection drops during printing, print jobs are not lost. The POS app stores them locally on the iPad. Other devices and the web app do not see these jobs.

Open menu

An orange printer icon with a small colored dot appears in the top right of the navigation bar—but only if there are open receipts and the "Print Jobs" section is active. Tapping this icon opens a menu with exactly two group actions: "Print Open Jobs (N)" and "Delete Open Jobs (N)." The app does not display individual jobs with their job type, target printer, or waiting time.

Reprint

"Print Open Jobs (N)" prints all queued receipts. While a print job is in progress, the first entry is labeled "Printing in progress…" and is locked. This list is not available in hub print mode: the icon is not displayed, and the menu only shows the message "Print jobs are being processed via the hub".

If open jobs are piling up, this indicates a printer or network problem. First, check the printer (power, paper, Wi-Fi), then the Wi-Fi status of the iPad.

A print job is automatically reprinted only within 150 seconds of the first attempt. This prevents a printer returning late from producing a series of jammed receipts. After that, the job remains and must be printed manually. It only disappears from the list after successful printing or by selecting "Delete Open Jobs".
