Card payment via terminal
Pay with SumUp, Stripe, PAYONE or Tap-to-Pay — connect terminal, scan card, done.
Three card providers are supported: SumUp (small terminal, Bluetooth), Stripe, and PAYONE (own terminals). With Tap-to-Pay, the customer pays directly on their iPhone, without any additional device. Operation is similar across all locations; the app handles terminal-specific steps. Before the first card payment, the business owner must configure the provider under Settings → Payment Providers; for Tap-to-Pay, location services and Bluetooth must also be enabled.
Card payment in the service

Schritt 1 von 1
Step 1
In the summary screen of the statement, select the card payment method: credit card, SumUp, debit card (named depending on the provider).
Tap the large black button (e.g., "Bill €4.80"). The app will initiate the connection to the terminal—with SumUp, the device will beep; with Tap-to-Pay, the iPhone will display the card reader screen. Hand the terminal or iPhone to the guest.
The guest holds their card or smartphone to the terminal. If successful, the payment will be displayed as paid. The receipt is printed, and the order is marked as paid.
Tip when paying by card
With SumUp, the guest can choose the tip themselves at the external card reader—but only if no tip has been pre-set in the app and the device supports this function. The app automatically applies the amount selected at the terminal. This prompt is omitted with Tap-to-Pay on iPhones. With Stripe and PAYONE terminals, you always enter the tip in advance in the app (received amount higher than the total receipt).
When paying by card, the amount is only recorded as paid after successful confirmation from the terminal — if the payment is cancelled or rejected, the order remains open, and you can start a new attempt with a different payment method.
