associate with a restaurant

Connect to the first restaurant via PIN from the owner — then you can start shifts and take orders.

After registering, you need to connect to the restaurant where you work. This is done using a 9-digit PIN consisting of lowercase letters. There is only one PIN per restaurant, and it applies to all employees. Without this connection, you cannot take orders.

Get PIN from the owner

The owner can find the PIN in the web portal (desk.servire.de) under Settings → Restaurant in the PIN section. The PIN does not expire. Only if the owner taps "Generate new PIN" there will the old PIN become invalid—existing connections remain unaffected.

Connection in the app

The first time you log in after registration—or tap "Connect to Restaurant" on the overview screen—you will be prompted to enter your PIN. Enter the 9 characters and tap the arrow in the upper right corner. Alternatively, you can press the Return key on your keyboard.

The next screen displays the restaurant's name and address. Confirm by tapping "Connect" — that's it. You can now start a shift and take orders.

Connecting a PIN does not consume a PIN and it can be redeemed by any number of employees consecutively. If the app displays "No restaurant could be found with the entered PIN," you have either mistyped it or the owner has regenerated the PIN. "You are already connected to this restaurant" means your account is already linked.

Upon connecting, you automatically receive a default set of permissions. The owner can then adjust these for each employee in the web desk. If you cannot perform a specific function, the necessary permission is not granted.
