Login and logout – Servire Handbook

Every workday begins with logging in at the checkout. If you've logged in on this iPad before, your password is all you need—the service app remembers your login details. The first time you log in, you'll need to enter your email address and password together.

Log in with your saved account

This is the fastest — and most common — method. Servire displays a list of all accounts that have previously logged in to this iPad.

Tap Sign in on the home screen.

Select your account from the Recent Logins list.

Enter your password and tap Sign in. The eye icon will briefly display the password if you wish to check it.

Ready

The table plan opens automatically when a shift is active. Without an active shift, you will be taken to the overview.

To remove an account from the list—for example, a colleague's who no longer uses the device—swipe the entry to the left and tap Delete. The account itself will remain and can be added again at any time.

Sign up with a new account

The first time you use an iPad — or if you want to sign in with a different account — you will need the full sign-up form.

In Recent Logins, tap the person icon in the top right corner.

Tap Sign in. Alternatively, you can create a new account via Register.

Enter your email address and password. Confirm your registration by clicking the checkmark in the upper right corner.

The very first time you start the app — if no account is yet saved on the iPad — you will be taken directly to this selection screen after tapping Sign In.

Forgot your password?

On the login screen—whether in the compact spreadsheet or the full form—tap "Forgot password." Confirm the security prompt with "Yes." Servire will immediately send you an email with a link to reset your password. After the reset, log in as usual with your new password.

Log out

Open the overview using the house symbol on the table plan.

Tap the sign-out icon (arrow out of a rectangle) in the top right corner.

Logging out does NOT end a current shift. The shift remains open and continues running—even if no one is logged in. It is only ended by clicking "End shift" in the overview. This separation is intentional: it allows shift changes between two operators without data loss.

If you are offline, the app will ask you to log out before logging you out. Without an internet connection, only accounts whose data is already saved on the iPad can log back in.
