Bringing parties together
Combining two separate parties at the same table into one — when guests decide to pay together.
The opposite of splitting: combining two or more separate parties at the same table into one. This is typical when a business partner ends up paying or when the table spontaneously transforms into a larger group.
This is how you bring together

Schritt 1 von 1
Step 1
Open the order for the table with multiple parties. Tap the three-dot menu next to the source party and select "Merge with party".
"Merge with Party" is a submenu: It displays all other parties at the table, each with its number or name. Merging only occurs when the target party is selected. The selected party is the source—its positions are transferred to the target party, after which it is dissolved. This submenu only appears if more than one party is at the table and none of them have been canceled.
Partial billing does not prevent consolidation — even partially paid items can be combined. Only splitting an item is blocked once paid items exist.
The number of people in the target party remains unchanged; it is not added together. Adjust it as needed using the "Number of People" menu option. Notes, discounts, and surcharges are attached to the individual items and move with them. The name of the target party remains the same.
