How to fix blockers at the end of the shift

When you tap "End shift," the POS app checks several conditions in succession. Most of the issues are blockers: fix the problem and tap again. Without an internet connection, the process will abort immediately.

The most common blockers

As long as a booked order is open, the "Notice" dialog blocks the end of the shift and lists the affected tables and order numbers.

The app displays "Empty shift" as the shift contains no bookings. Select "Yes" to end and delete the shift; select "No" to continue it unchanged.

If the service till is activated and an employee has not entered a current amount, "Open service tills" will appear. This message does not block the process.

Settle all open orders and tap "End shift" again.

Confirm the question "End shift?" with "Yes".

If "Open service counters" appears, end the shift with "End anyway".

With the "Serve Solo" plan, only the device on which the shift was started can end it. On a different device, tap "Take over cash register here" and confirm with "Take over".
