Cash register closing: Procedure and variations
Here's how to close the cash register at the end of your shift.
The cash register closing process is everything that happens after tapping "End shift." The specific steps that appear depend on whether the cash book, cash reconciliation, and service cash register functions are enabled.

Check the shift overview and close it using the checkmark icon in the top right corner.
The cash count only appears if the cash book is active and not set to deactivated. You count bills and coins individually using the denominations option. A total of 0 is also permitted during the subsequent cash reconciliation.
The shift overview displays up to four cards: time, sales, cash balance (only during counting), and tips (only if the payout exceeds zero). The Z-report is always generated and saved; it is only printed automatically if the "Automatically print Z-report at shift end" option is enabled in the web desk.
The four parameters for the process can be found in the web desk under Settings, Restaurant tab, Cash Book & Service Cash Register section.
