Connect with other restaurants
Working with several restaurants simultaneously — for example as a server in two establishments or as the owner of several locations.
A Servire account can be linked to multiple restaurants—useful for staff working in two establishments or owners managing several locations. They can switch between restaurants within the app at any time without having to log in again.
Connect to other restaurants
Ask the owner of the second restaurant for the PIN (see Connect to a Restaurant). The process is the same as the first time and is available to you on all three platforms:
Service for iPad: Open the overview, tap the info icon in the row with the restaurant's name and select "Connect to Restaurant".
Android service: Tap the restaurant name in the overview and select "Connect to restaurant" in the selection window.
Servire Web desk (desk.servire.de): In the header, open the restaurant selection and select "Connect to restaurant".
Enter the 9 characters there and confirm the displayed restaurant by clicking Connect.
Switching between restaurants
In the POS app, the name of the currently active restaurant is displayed in the location section of the overview. Tap the arrow next to it—a selection of all connected locations will open. Tap the desired location: the app will switch immediately, and the table plan and all data will reload. The same restaurant selection in the header performs the same function in the web interface.
Only ONE restaurant can be active per device at a time. If you commute between two locations, remember to switch the restaurant at shift changes—otherwise, bookings will end up at the wrong location.
Permissions are configured individually for each restaurant by the respective owner. You might be allowed to handle payments in Restaurant A, but only take orders in Restaurant B—the app adjusts automatically when you change locations.
