Coupon code options
When selling vouchers, choose between auto-code, manual entry or code generation — and protect existing codes from duplicates.
When selling a voucher (see Selling and redeeming vouchers), a random code is generated by default. However, you can customize the code if needed—for example, for your own sequential numbering or to import it from a pre-printed version.
Code options
In the voucher sales dialog, you'll find the "Code" section at the top, displaying the currently generated code and an "Edit" button. Tapping this button opens a submenu: Generate new code (a fresh random code), or manually enter your own code.
Use your own codes
If you have pre-printed vouchers with a printed code or would like to use your own numbering system, enter the code manually. The app checks whether the code has already been used when saving – a warning will be issued if it is a duplicate.
Custom codes (e.g., WEIHN24-001) are useful for seasonal campaigns or voucher packages. Ensure each code is unique—it should only be used once per location.
Auto-generated codes consist of 9 lowercase letters (a-z), are easily readable and communicated. Manually generated codes can contain any characters.
