Coupon code options
When selling vouchers, you can either use the automatically generated code or enter your own code.
When selling a voucher, a random code is generated once the dialog box opens. You can overwrite it if needed—for example, to create your own sequential numbering or to use a pre-printed code.
Code options
The voucher appears as a ticket card with the value, and the code is displayed below. Tapping the pencil icon next to it makes the code field directly editable; the icon changes to a checkmark. Clicking the checkmark confirms the changed code. You cannot request a new random code.
Use your own codes
For pre-printed vouchers or custom numbering, enter the code manually. If the code is already in use, the cash register will notify you—each code may only be used once per location.
The “…” menu in the navigation bar also provides access to “Scan QR code” and “Enter code”. Both of these options accept the code from a previously prepared voucher.
Custom codes like WEIHN24-001 are clearly designed for seasonal campaigns or voucher packages.
Only letters, numbers, hyphens, and underscores are allowed, with a maximum of 3 to 20 characters; umlauts, spaces, and special characters are rejected. The code field at the checkout accepts a maximum of 15 characters. Automatically generated codes consist of 9 lowercase letters.
