Warning about unsaved changes
If you want to leave the order view with unprocessed items or notes, the app warns you — preventing accidental discarding.
Servire is conservative with unsaved data: if you have added items but haven't tapped "Submit" and then try to leave the order window, a warning will appear. You can then choose to save (submit), discard (items will be lost), or go back (the window remains open).
When the warning comes
The warning appears when: tapping the X (close order view), swiping down (dismissing the modal), or tapping the action menu with a different workflow. In all these cases, the app checks for unprocessed changes.
The warning dialog contains three buttons: Save (sends the order), Discard (items are deleted without anything going to the kitchen), Cancel (return to the order).
If you accidentally tap "Discard" and you really need the items—don't worry: they're removed from this order, but not yet permanently in your account system. You can add them again if needed.
This warning is especially important for takeaway orders: forgotten takeaway orders block the end of the shift. So it's best to save your order in case the customer comes to pay later.
