Self-order badge on table
When the guest orders via the Servire guest app, a colored badge appears at the table — indicating that a new order is waiting.
Does your restaurant use the Servire guest app (QR code on the table, which the guest scans and orders themselves)? Then a color-coded badge in the Servire highlight color will appear on the table in the table plan as soon as a new self-order has been received.
Understanding badges
A clearly visible colored badge on the table indicates that a new order has been placed via the guest app. If there are multiple self-orders, the number is displayed as a small number on the badge. Tap the table—the self-order will then be visible as a separate section.
Self-orders on the iPad are read-only: You can view them, but you cannot add items, process payments, or cancel orders—these actions are currently only possible via the web portal. The self-order section on the iPad is for informational purposes only.
Self-orders often include order notes or special requests—the guest has taken the time to enter them in detail via the app. Read them carefully before having them implemented in the kitchen.
Self-ordering is a feature flag-locked feature — only active in restaurants that have set up the guest app. If you are interested, please contact service support.
