View location details
View the address, tax ID number and contact details of the current restaurant — and share it as a business card.
Sometimes a server needs the restaurant's address or phone number—for example, to give it to a guest over the phone. The location details compile all the information on one screen.
Open details
In the overview, next to the restaurant's name, you'll find an info icon (an i in a circle). Tapping it opens a small menu with two options: Restaurant Details and Connect to Restaurant. Select Restaurant Details.
The detailed view displays name, address, tax ID number, managing director, telephone number, email address, and website. It also includes a subscription badge indicating FREE or PRO. Empty fields are hidden.
Share as a contact
Using the share icon in the top right corner, the POS app generates a business card in vcf format and opens the iOS share menu. There you can decide what happens to it—for example, saving it to contacts or sending it via message.
The phone number and email address are just text fields. Tapping them will not initiate a call or open an email program.
If a guest calls and asks for directions: briefly open the details and read the address aloud. This is faster than using the web desk or a search engine.
