General settings
Customize the app's printing, display, font size, and default behavior to suit your workflow.
Under Settings → General, you'll find all options that aren't related to a specific function: how should receipts be printed? Which product images should appear? What is the default selection when settling accounts? Customization allows each service team to configure the app according to their preferences.
Print settings
Food: Separate printing: each food item on its own slip (practical for multi-chefs). Beverages: Separate printing: same slip for beverages. Order slips: No prices: kitchen slip shows only items, no amounts — beneficial for employee discretion.
Opinion
Product images: Both/List/Detail only — where should product photos appear? Quick tips: Show all/Important/None — how much toast feedback for each action?
font size
Sliders range from small to large. For older employees or in low light, increase the font size — the entire app scales accordingly.
Standard billing procedure
Default billing options: Nothing preselected/Everything preselected. "Nothing" requires active selection—protecting against accidental full billing. "Everything" speeds up the standard process.
The settings are per device, not per account. A service employee working on multiple iPads must adjust the settings on each device individually.
