Add order notes
Please include a note for the kitchen with any requests such as "without onions".
You can add a note to the kitchen specifying requests that don't fit into any of the standard options, such as "without onions" or "extra sauce". The note should be written on the receipt next to the item.
When ordering
Write a note
Press and hold the tile and select Add with note (on Android, Order with note). Alternatively, tap Note in the Detailed order. Type the text and save it with the checkmark in the upper right corner. Tapping a template below will apply it immediately; if none are available, it will say No templates. If the item has a required selection, the Detailed order will then open.
Change it later
Press and hold the item row in the table view and select Note or Edit Note. If the row contains multiple items, open it and tap … next to each item. For item that have already been sent, the POS system prints a note slip for the kitchen when Submit.
Each saved note automatically becomes a template for this item. Swipe left on templates you no longer need to remove them from the list.
If you save an empty field, you remove the note. Recurring requests like "spicy" are best saved as variations, then they appear as tips.
