Understanding toast notifications and feedback

The small pop-up messages at the bottom of the screen confirm actions or warn you — when they will happen and how to control them.

Servire displays a brief notification at the bottom of the screen after each relevant action: "Order sent," "Cancellation successful," "Connection lost." These notifications are helpful for seeing at a glance that an action has been performed.

Toast types

Green: Positive confirmation (order sent, receipt printed). Orange/Yellow: Warning (printer offline, order without items). Red: Error (server error, invalid input). Blue/Standard: Information (shift change, update available).

Toasts appear for 2-3 seconds and disappear automatically. In case of critical errors (red), they appear longer or until manually dismissed.

Adjust toast behavior

In Settings → General → Quick alerts, you can configure how many toasts are displayed: Show all, Important only (warnings and errors only), or None. "All" is helpful during the initial setup phase; later on, fewer may be more convenient.

If you missed a toast—it was too short, you weren't looking—check your print jobs list. Successful actions usually create an entry there as well.
