Understanding toast notifications and feedback

The small pop-up messages at the bottom of the screen confirm actions or warn you — when they will happen and how to control them.

After each relevant action, the POS app displays a brief notification at the bottom of the screen: "Order sent", "Cancellation successful", "Connection lost". This allows you to see at a glance that an action has been performed.

Toast types

Green indicates a successful action, such as a submitted order or a printed receipt. Orange signifies a warning, red an error. Purely informational elements appear in gray or black.

Each notification disappears automatically. The default is two seconds; error messages remain visible for three to five seconds, depending on the situation. Tapping the notification closes it immediately—it cannot be kept open.

Adjust toast behavior

Under Settings → General → Quick Notifications, you can choose between two options. "Show all" displays all notifications, including confirmations, favorites, and printer status. "Only errors & warnings" hides the confirmations. Errors and warnings cannot be completely disabled.

Did you miss a notification? The print job list only helps with printing processes; it's not a general log. You can find the complete history of all operations for a shift in the shift history, located in the shift's detail view.
