Item search during ordering
Use a magnifying glass search during order taking to find the desired item faster — even with huge menus.
For large menus with dozens of categories and hundreds of items, tap-based navigation is inefficient. The search function in the top right corner of the menu order view lets you find any item in seconds.
Activate search
In the menu (during order taking at the table or in counter mode), tap the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner. A search bar will appear.
Tap by item name (e.g., cappuccino) or order number (e.g., 40). The list filters instantly, even across all categories. Tapping on a search result adds the item directly to the order (or opens the details dialog for variations).
Partial words also work — capp finds Cappuccino, latte finds Latte Macchiato, and Latte Macchiato Coconut. For ambiguous matches, all matches appear in the list.
The search function scans article names, order numbers, and descriptions. If there are frequent typos in article names, it's worth asking the owner to correct them to ensure the search works reliably.
