Send message to printer
Send free text slips to the kitchen or counter — for notes such as "Birthday Table 5" or "Please hurry".
Sometimes you need to send the kitchen a message that isn't part of an order: "Table 5 has a birthday, dessert with a candle," "Drinks for table 12, please hurry," "Bar needs more ice cubes." With the printer message function, you can send free-text order slips directly to the desired printer.

Step 1
Tap the action menu in the bottom right corner of the table plan and select Send message. A submenu will open with all available printers.
Tap the target printer (e.g., kitchen, bar, cash register). A text input field will open. Type your message and confirm with Send — the receipt will print immediately.
For recurring messages (e.g., "Please hurry"), create templates in the web desk — they can then be selected directly in the submenu, no typing required.
Printer messages are logged during the shift and appear in the print jobs list — you can review them later or reprint them.
