Send message to printer
Send free text slips to the kitchen or counter — for notes such as "Birthday Table 5" or "Please hurry".
Sometimes you need to send the kitchen a message that isn't part of an order: "Table 5 has a birthday, dessert with a candle" or "Bar needs more ice cubes." With the printer message function, you can send free text directly to the desired printer.

On the table plan, tap the action menu in the bottom right corner and select Send message.
The submenu lists the connected printers, each with its device name or IP address. Tap the target printer. A dialog box will open with a blank text field. Type your message and confirm—the receipt will print immediately.
A message can contain a maximum of 300 characters. Longer texts will be truncated when sent, so please be concise.
Message receipts are not saved. They do not appear in the print job list and cannot be reviewed or reprinted. If printing fails, retype the message.
