Switch view: Table view ↔ Express checkout

Switch between table view and express checkout — this setting applies to each individual iPad.

The POS app offers two operating modes: the classic table view with table plan, parties and courses, and the express checkout for direct sales at the counter.

Open Settings → General → View. There you will find two options: Table view (classic table selection with areas — for restaurants, cafes, bars) and Quick checkout (quick ordering at the counter — for food trucks, bakeries, snack bars).

Tapping the desired row immediately saves the selection and returns you directly to the previous view. There is no confirmation or app restart. The new view takes effect as soon as you return to the table plan.

The screen looks different at the express checkout: instead of tables, there's a continuous order list with a shopping cart. You select items directly from the menu and then pay.

The express checkout is suitable for businesses where guests order at the counter, pay immediately, and leave. For restaurants with seating, the table view is usually more appropriate.

The choice applies only to the specific iPad. It is stored locally on the device and not in the account — the same account can use different views on two devices.
