Legal notice and privacy policy for the website
Here's how to check company information, legal notice and privacy policy of your Servire website.
In Germany, a business website is legally required to have an imprint (Impressum) and a privacy policy. Servire generates both from your company information. The links Imprint and Privacy Policy are located at the bottom of every page and on the order page.
Prerequisite: The website belongs to the Max plan. The texts provided by Servire are a template, not legal advice. Please review them for your business.

Open legal
In the overview under Pages, click the pencil icon next to Legal Information. The Company Details are displayed at the top: Company Name, Managing Director, VAT ID, and Commercial Register (optional). If anything is missing, it will say Not Set.
The company information is accessed via Settings → Restaurant. Edit allows you to change it centrally there and saves it immediately ( edit address, company details and contact information ).
My own texts
Under Texts, you select Legal Notice or Privacy Policy. If you leave the field blank, the website uses the default text with your company information. If you enter something, you add your own content, e.g., about the responsible supervisory authority or other services on your site. The legal notice and privacy policy remain in German even on the English version of the website.
If you used sample data during setup, replace the placeholders with your actual information before publishing. Leave the Active switch enabled under Legal.
