Manage restaurant master data

Overview of all settings you can manage for each restaurant — PIN, information, logo, payment methods, tax rates and more.

What you will find here

In the Service Web Desk under Settings → Restaurant, you manage all data and configurations for the currently selected restaurant. Switch between restaurants in the upper right corner if you operate multiple restaurants—each restaurant has its own settings.

PIN — Employee login for the cash register app

The restaurant PIN is required for an employee to connect to the POS app for the first time. Each employee only needs the PIN once per device — after that, the device remains connected.

Regenerate PIN upon employee change

When an employee leaves, regenerate the PIN using the refresh button. Existing connected devices remain connected—the old PIN simply won't work for new connections.

Information — Address and contact details

Enter the name, address, manager, and contact details of your restaurant. This information will appear on invoices, receipts, in the cash book, and on the digital menu for your guests. Required field: only the name.

Submenus in this overview

Cash book and service cash register

In the Cash Book & Service Cash Register section, you activate digital cash book management (Pro feature) and configure whether each employee gets their own service cash register or whether everyone works together from one shift cash register.

More settings

At the very bottom you will find switches for special behavior:

  • Automatically print order notes — Notes appear directly on the kitchen receipt

  • Enforce employee discount — Prevents employees from applying other discounts

  • Display service time slots in the POS app — e.g., breakfast, lunch, dinner service

Upload logo

Upload your restaurant logo — it will appear on PDF invoices and in the digital menu. Minimum size: 200 × 200 pixels, ideally as a PNG with a transparent background.

At the very bottom you'll find the option to delete the restaurant. This is only possible if the restaurant never had a subscription — otherwise, the 10-year retention period according to the German Cash Register Security Ordinance (KassenSichV) applies. Question: Are you sure? There's no going back.
