Manage restaurant master data

Overview of all settings you maintain for each restaurant — PIN, information, logo, payment methods, tax rates and more.

In the Service Web Desk, you can manage all the data for the currently selected restaurant under Settings → Restaurant. Switch between restaurants in the upper right corner if you operate multiple restaurants—each has its own settings.

PIN and information

The restaurant PIN is required by an employee to connect a device to this restaurant for the first time—once per device. A new PIN can be generated using the refresh button; connected devices remain connected, but the old PIN is no longer valid for new connections. Under Information, enter your name, address, manager, and contact details; this information will appear on invoices, receipts, in the cash book, and on the digital menu. Only the name field is mandatory.

Separate manual articles are available for the following sub-sections: - Opening hours - Payment methods - Discounts - Reasons for cancellation - Product groups - Tax rates - Price categories - Billing address and company details

Cash book, other settings and logo

In the Cash Book & Service POS section, you can activate digital cash book management—it's included in all plans, including the Free plan. In the POS app, the display is also linked to the employee's "Cash Book" permission. Under Additional Settings, there are four options: automatically print Z-report at the end of a shift, mandatory number of people for table reservations, mandatory number of people for takeaway orders, and service time notifications in the POS app, for which you can set two color thresholds in minutes (yellow and red). You upload your logo in the Invoices section: minimum size 500 × 200 pixels, cropped in a 5:2 aspect ratio, converted to grayscale. It will appear on PDF invoices and in the digital menu.

At the very bottom is the option Delete Restaurant. This button is only active if three conditions are met simultaneously: the restaurant never had a subscription (otherwise the ten-year retention period according to the German Cash Register Security Ordinance (KassenSichV) applies), you are the creator of the restaurant, and at least two restaurants are assigned to your account. Therefore, the last restaurant cannot be deleted. Deletion is permanent.
