Setting up a menu display

Your card displayed on a screen at the entrance or behind the counter.

The menu display shows your menu on a screen: with logo, categories, prices, labels, and a key to additives, allergens, and properties. Sold-out items are marked as such.

The map must be set up in Servere, with categories and articles. Descriptions will only appear if you have entered them as a public description for the article.

Settings

Under Settings → Menu Display:

Menu display settings including design, columns and display mode
Menu display settings including design, columns and display mode
  • Displayed Menus — which menus are currently available. If you have a lunch menu and a dinner menu, each screen will display the appropriate one.

  • Design — six templates: Noir for fine dining, Signal for urban establishments, Osteria for the trattoria, Tafel as a board, Café for brunch, Biergarten for the tavern.

  • Columns — one, two, or three. One column is correct on a vertically oriented screen, three on a horizontal one.

  • Display ModeNormal for manual scrolling, Auto-Scroll scrolls automatically, Fade fades page by page like a slideshow.

  • Display duration — only with fade: 10, 15 or 20 seconds per side.

  • Scroll speed — only with auto-scroll: slow, medium or fast.

These settings apply to the device you are using. Therefore, two screens can display two different maps in two different designs.

What you don't maintain here

Items, prices, images, and labels come from the menu—you manage these in the web portal or the POS app. The display always shows the current information.
