Working without TSE
When your restaurant can operate without a TSE) and what will then be shown on receipts and in the cash register export.
The POS system also works without a TSE ( Technical Security Equipment): You can place orders, process payments, and close shifts. However, the transactions are not digitally signed. For POS operation in Germany, an active TSE is mandatory; without a TSE, Servire is only suitable for setup and testing.
When no TSE is active
** Servire Free and Trial Phase**: These tariffs do not include TSE.
Subscription, but no TSE yet: The owner sees the message Your cash register is currently working without TSE on the overview with **Set up TSE **.
** TSE deactivated**: The message reads The TSE of this company is deactivated, with **Reactivate TSE **.
** TSE not included**: For some activations by Servire , TSE and cash register reporting are excluded. The ** TSE** tab will indicate this.
The information on the overview can be hidden for this restaurant using Don't show again.
What happens without TSE
Receipts bear the note Receipt created without TSE equipment and are not considered receipts within the meaning of the German Cash KassenSichV).
The DSFinV-K export shows that the TSE was missing for every transaction.
Guest orders, order terminal, voucher shop and delivery services continue to operate and are recorded unsigned, just like at the checkout.
Cash register reporting, TSE export and failed transactions are only available with TSE.
Start with TSE
Set up the TSE before you process real sales: Create TSE. You can then delete any practice data from before. Transactions that were only temporarily unsigned with an active TSE are a different case: Failed TSE transactions.
