Remove practice data before TSE commissioning
Delete only the test processes that have been specifically authorized for this purpose.
Under Web desk → Settings → TSE, the option Delete test data will appear if corresponding practice data exists. This step may also be offered after TSE setup.
Requirements
No shift may be running. First, end an open shift in the POS app and reload the page. Data from the time the TSE was commissioned onwards is excluded from this deletion function.
Check scope
Open Delete Test Data. The dialog box lists the affected orders, receipts, shifts, and cash book entries, including the quantity. If a TSE (Technical Security Equipment) is already active, it also displays the cut-off date; only older, approved test data will be removed.
Delete permanently
Check the list and enter the restaurant name exactly. Only confirm if the data is truly no longer needed for the exercises. Cancel closes the dialog without deleting the data.
The deletion is permanent. This method does not reset any productive cash register and does not remove any transactions subject to retention requirements from the time the TSE was put into operation.
