Remove practice data before TSE commissioning
This is how you delete test orders and shifts from the time before the TSE, so that your records start cleanly.
If you tested Servire before the TSE Security Equipment) was implemented, you'll have practice orders and shifts in the system. You can delete these once. The TSE assistant offers this option immediately after setup; later, you'll find it at the very bottom under Settings → TSE → Delete Test Data.
Prerequisite: Only the restaurant owner. This section only appears if there is deleteable test data. Nothing will be deleted while a shift is in progress.
End current shift
If the area displays End shift first, end the shift in the POS app and reload the page. Afterwards, the warning with the button Permanently delete test data will appear.
Check scope and delete
Click on Permanently delete test data. The dialog box lists what will be deleted, including the quantity:
Orders, table accounts and order items
Invoices, receipts and transactions
Shifts and cash counts
Cash book entries
If applicable, the sample data from the statistics
If the TSE is already active, the dialog will display the cut-off date: only data prior to that date will be deleted. Receipts recorded by the TSE will always be retained. To confirm, enter the restaurant name exactly as it appears and confirm. Cancel will not delete anything.
The deletion cannot be undone. Only delete actual training data, never sales data from ongoing operations.
