Menu Generator (PDF)

Create attractive PDF menus for printing using six design templates.

With the menu generator, you can print your digital menus from Servire as attractive PDF templates for your guests — without an external layout program. You choose from several designs, decide which content is displayed, and download the finished PDF.

Open generator

Click on the More menu (…) in the top right corner of the menu page and select Menu Generator.

Select design

Six templates are available:

  • Classic — black and white, clean typography, classic restaurant look

  • Modern — minimalist, plenty of white space, urban look

  • Elegant — refined layout for upscale restaurants

  • Urban — dark background, bold colors, bistro/bar style

  • Vintage — warm earth tones, nostalgic charm

  • Traditional — structured, businesslike, for pubs and cafés

Display options

  • Menu Items — Select which menus should be included in the PDF (e.g., only drinks or drinks + food)

  • Descriptions — Display public descriptions for each item

  • PLUs — Print quick access numbers (e.g., for self-service)

  • Menu Names — Headings for each menu item

  • Labels — Allergens and additives as symbols/superscripts

  • Prices — Show or hide prices (e.g., for wine recommendations)

  • Variants — Print variations with additional charges

  • Item Deposit — Display deposit surcharges

  • Price Indentation — Round prices to, for example, €5.00 instead of €4.87 for a cleaner look

Footer and accent color

In the Footer field, you can enter text that will appear at the bottom of every page or only on the first page—for example, allergen information, opening hours, contact details, or legal notices. The Show Footer Only on First Page toggle lets you control whether the footer appears continuously or only once.

The Accent Color colors headings and separator lines in your brand color.

Download and print

Click on Download Menu — you will receive a ready-made PDF that you can print directly in your restaurant or hand over to a printing company.

Living Menu

Since the generator always uses the current version of your Servire menu, you can create a fresh PDF in under a minute for every change (price, new item, new description) — menu maintenance without separate DTP.
