Employees are processing

This is how you manage your restaurant's staff — adjust permissions, invite new ones, remove departing employees.

Employee list

In the Service Web Desk under Settings → Staff, you can see all the people assigned to your restaurant — with their name, email address, and phone number. As the owner/creator, you have full control here.

Invite employees — via the POS app

New employees are not added via the web portal, but via the POS app. The employee installs the Servire POS app on their iPad or iPhone, creates an account, and then connects using the restaurant PIN (see Manage Restaurant Master Data). After the initial connection, they will appear in this list.

List update

If a new employee has just connected, click the refresh icon in the top right corner to reload the list. It may take a few seconds for the list to reload.

Adjust permissions

Click on the three-dot menu to the right of an employee and then on Edit. There you can control which functions each employee is allowed to see in the POS app:

  • View Statistics — Daily sales, shift reports, employee rankings

  • Maintain Cash Book — Record deposits, withdrawals, and cash count discrepancies

  • Export DSFinV-K — Trigger sensitive tax export

  • Manage Employees — Invite/edit other employees

  • Change Settings — Menu, prices, payment methods

  • Cancel — Reverse already booked items

  • Grant Discounts — Apply discounts

The owner (creator of the restaurant) automatically has all rights and cannot be restricted. You can identify this person by the Creator label in the Account → Restaurants section.

Remove employees

You can remove an employee from the establishment via the three-dot menu → Remove. Their account remains active—they are only removed from this establishment. Their historical transactions remain unchanged (required by the German Cash Register Security Ordinance).

Regenerate PIN upon exit

If an employee who knew the restaurant PIN has left the company, regenerate the PIN under Settings → Restaurant → PIN. Existing connected devices will remain connected, but no one will be able to log in again with the old PIN.

Personal data of employees

Each employee manages their own personal data (name, address, profile picture) in their account — see Login data and personal data. As the account owner, you cannot change this data for others; this is also sensible from a data protection perspective.
