How to manage your restaurant staff — adjust rights, maintain master data, remove departing employees.

Employee management is located in the Web Desk service as a separate "Employees" section in the main navigation—not in the settings. Clicking the "Manage Employees" button opens the management interface with all editing functions.

You don't add new employees via the web desk: The employee installs the POS app, creates an account, and connects it using the restaurant's PIN. After that, they appear in the list.

Adjust rights

Open the three-dot menu next to an employee and then select "Edit". The "Permissions" section contains eleven toggles: Access to web desk, Access to cash register, Access to all restaurant shift data, Allows to take orders, Allows to process orders, Access to printer settings, Allows to grant discounts, Allows to cancel items, Allows to create and edit items, Allows to set up payment providers (SumUp, Stripe), Allows to manage time tracking. The "Other" section also includes "Is employer (tax tips)". Statistics, exports, and settings are all linked to the "Access to web desk" toggle.

Master data and departure

In the same dialog, you maintain the master data: first name, last name, street, house number, address supplement, postal code, city, country, and telephone number. The email address is only displayed; each employee manages their own profile picture. Using "Remove," you exclude someone from the restaurant; the account remains active, and the historical bookings remain unchanged.

Regenerate PIN upon exit

If someone who knew the restaurant PIN has left, you can regenerate the PIN under Settings → Restaurant. Connected devices will remain connected, but no one will be able to log in again with the old PIN.
