Setting up service counters and allocation

Set up separate or shared service points for your team.

End your current shift before changing service counters, groups, or service staff assignments. These settings are locked during a shift.

In the Web desk → Settings → Cash Register, open Cash Book & Service Cash Register → Pen. Activating the service cash register gives service staff their own cash registers with an opening balance and a count at the end of their shift. Without groups, each service staff member has their own service cash register.

Enable Activate Service Cash Register and save. The screenshot also shows what locked settings look like during a shift.

Sharing a cash register

The overview displays Service Checkout Groups. Open +, assign a name, such as "Terrace", and select the employees. Members of another group cannot be selected again. Save applies the group changes.

You can edit or delete a group via the three-dot menu. When deleting a group, the members are reassigned to Your Own Service Fund.

Collecting money for colleagues

  • Assign payment to a server: When settling accounts, you select who the sales and tips are assigned to in the report and statistics. The person actually handling the payment remains listed as the server.

  • Cash follows assignment: Appears when the service till is active and the assignment is enabled. The cash is added to the till of the selected server. Only activate this if that person will also receive the money.

Daily routine: Open and close the service checkout.
