Secure hub devices with a device code
A numerical code prevents guests from leaving full screen or accessing the menu at the terminal.
The device code protects all hub devices in your restaurant: Without it, you cannot exit full screen mode, and the menu will not open in the guest areas. This prevents anyone from accessing the kitchen or settings at the order terminal or customer display.
In the Web desk

Open area
In the Web desk, open Settings → POS. In the Secure Hub Devices section, under Device Code, you will see whether a code is Set or Not Set. Click on the pencil icon.

Enter the code
Enter only numbers under Device Code, at least 4 digits, and click Save. The code will immediately apply to all Hub devices in this restaurant.
In the hub
Secure the device
Click on your profile (gear icon) in the sidebar at the bottom and select the General tab. Under Secure Device, enter the code in the Set Device Code field and click Save Code. You can only change or remove a set code here using the current code.
Where the hub asks for the code
Exit full screen – in all areas, including kitchen monitor and print center.
Open menu – only in the guest areas: order terminal, customer display, pick-up display and menu display. After correct entry, the menu will remain visible for one minute.
A set code cannot be displayed. If you've forgotten it, simply set a new one in the Web desk ; you don't need to know the old one. Use Remove Code to remove the protection.
