Print queue and malfunctions
What's in the queue, what the messages mean, and how to reprint.
The queue below the printer list shows what is currently running and what is stuck.
The columns
The entry indicates the reason for the receipt—for example, "Order Added," "Settlement," "Z-Report," "Deposit Return," or "Open Cash Drawer." The "Group" entry specifies the purpose: Food, Drinks, Bills, Reports, Deposits, or Miscellaneous. The "Table" entry shows the table or, for orders without a table, the pickup number.
The status is: Waiting, Printing..., Done, or Failed. For retries, the number of attempts is shown. For blocked jobs, the reason and how long they have been waiting are displayed instead of the status.
Reprint and tidy up
Resends all failed missions. Individual missions have their own symbol for this.
It clears the queue. This cannot be reversed — Servire will ask for your permission beforehand. Take it if there are old receipts left after a disruption that no one needs anymore.
When reprinting, Servire will indicate if the receipt has already been sent to the printer. Check the printer before reprinting—otherwise, it will print twice.
The condition of each printer
Each printer card displays its device status at the top:
Ready — everything is fine.
Attention — something is wrong, but the printing is still running. Instead of "Attention", the specific reason is given, e.g., low paper.
Blocked — the printer isn't accepting anything. The reason is explained here.
Not yet used — the printer is set up, but has never printed.
If the browser blocks the printer
If print jobs report a connection error even though the printer is on the network, the browser blocks the direct connection. Server then displays a message with the solution: in the printer's web interface under Network Security Settings → SSL/TLS, set the Redirect HTTP to HTTPS option to Disable.
The desktop app is simpler — it prints without this setup.
