Evaluate statistics in the web desk
How to analyze the statistics in the web desk
The statistics section consolidates analyses of sales, shifts, and items in one place. Navigate to Statistics in the web interface. At the top, you can select the time period; below, you can switch between six tabs.
Select time period
The "Predefined period" field offers the following options: "User-defined," "This week," "Last week," "This month," "Last month," "This year," and "Last year." Only with "User-defined" can the "From" and "To" dates in the "Period" field be freely set using the calendar. For all other options, these two fields display the calculated range.
Maximum 14 months
A user-defined period cannot be longer than 14 months; otherwise, the message "The period can be a maximum of 14 months" will appear. The browser remembers the selected period and restores it the next time it is accessed.
The six tabs
"Sales" displays tiles for total sales, tips, discounts, and items sold, as well as tables for sales, payment methods, top sellers, departments, and tables. "Shifts" lists each shift with its period, number, and sales. "Top Sellers" toggles the chart between "Quantity" and "Sales." "Cancellations" shows the number and value for each cancellation reason. "Staff" compares the number of staff, sales, average receipt, and tips per person. "Coupons & Discounts" separates sold and redeemed coupons into single-purpose and multi-purpose coupons.
In the "Shifts" tab, the arrow icon "Service Cashier Details" opens a statement showing the beginning balance, target, actual, and difference. It only appears if service cashiers have been recorded for that shift.
Download reports
In the upper right corner, the "Sales Report" button generates a PDF for the selected period. Without a valid service subscription, it is disabled, labeled "Pro," and displays the message "Only available with a service subscription." You can download the Z-report for a single shift in the "Shifts" tab using the "Download Z-Report" icon—it only appears if a Z-report already exists for that shift.
