Opening hours and special opening hours
This is how you maintain your regular opening hours and set special days for holidays, company closures or events.
Why are opening hours necessary?
Your opening hours appear on your guest website, including a digital menu; they control availability in the reservation calendar and are transferred to Google as structured data. This allows guests to immediately see whether you are currently open.
Maintain regular opening hours
Open Settings → Restaurant → Opening Hours. This section is currently only available to beta testers. You can create up to five time slots per weekday—for example, separate slots for lunch from 11:30 to 14:30 and dinner service from 17:30 to 22:00. One time slot will always remain active and cannot be deleted.
Several time slots per day
Divide your day into several time slots if you have a lunch break. This way, guests can immediately see that the kitchen is closed between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
Special opening hours for holidays and events
Directly below the regular opening hours, you will find the section "Special Opening Hours". Clicking the plus icon opens the "Create New Special Day" dialog. There, you enter a name (required field, maximum 50 characters, for example, "Christmas"), select a date, and activate the "Open" switch. With the switch active, enter the different opening hours below, including "From" and "To".
A special day always applies to exactly one date; there is no time period. Therefore, you schedule company holidays day by day. Only one special day is possible per date, and on that day, regular hours take precedence.
