Timeline: Tables and times at a glance
Reservations are displayed as bars for each table: change the status with a tap, move reservations and plan arrivals.
The timeline shows each reservable table as a row and each reservation as a bar in its status color. This way you can see at a glance where there is still space.
Prerequisite: Reservations are available in the Max tariff if the Reservations module is activated in the Web desk (status Active in the header of the Reservations page). Only tables marked as reservable in the Web desk will be displayed.
Tables are grouped into areas. Tapping on the area name expands or collapses it.
Reservations without a table are listed above under Without a table.
Today, an orange line shows the current time as soon as it is within the visible time period.
If two reservations at the same table overlap, a red band lies behind them and the bars have a red border.
You can pull the timeline apart or together with two fingers; a double tap resets it.
Working with the timeline
Status via tap
Tap on a bar. The checkout will offer the appropriate steps, such as Confirm, Place, Complete, or No-Show. Open Details (Android: Open Card) displays the entire reservation.
New reservation – tap on an empty space in a table row. The table and time will then be entered.
Move – press and hold a bar and drag it: horizontally changes the time (in 15-minute increments), vertically changes the table. The system saves immediately and briefly offers Undo. Completed, canceled, and no-show reservations cannot be moved.
Arrivals
The Arrivals line at the bottom counts the arriving groups (above) and guests (below) for each time increment. If you've set an upper limit for the time period in the Web desk , it will show, for example, 14/20; a full increment is highlighted in orange. This helps you distribute kitchen work evenly throughout the evening. You can set the limits under Times and Capacity.
