Set up collection display

Collection numbers clearly visible, separated into those in progress and those ready for collection.

The pickup display shows two columns: Being prepared and Ready for pickup. The customer can see at a glance whether their number is up. The font size adjusts automatically so that a few numbers appear large while many remain legible.

First, activate the pickup numbers.

Without collection numbers, the display shows nothing. Open Settings → Collection Display and activate Activate Collection Numbers. Afterwards, counter and to-go orders will receive a sequential number — on the receipt, in the kitchen monitor, and here.

The same toggle switch is also available in the web interface under the POS settings. It's the same toggle switch regardless of where you place it.

Furnish

  1. On the screen above the counter, open hub.servire.de and log in.

  2. Select Pickup Display. This option will only appear if pickup numbers are enabled.

  3. Switch to Full Screen.

How a number travels

  • It is created as soon as the order is sent to the checkout and is listed under Being prepared.

  • It changes to Ready for Pickup as soon as the kitchen displays the status Ready for Pickup in the kitchen monitor.

  • It disappears as soon as the status is set to Ready or Collected.

If the kitchen jumps directly to "Picked up", the number never appears in the right column, and the guest is not called.

Settings

  • Tone — a signal that sounds when an order is ready for pickup, with a choice of six sounds. Factory setting. Applies to this device.

  • Display duration — how long a number ready for collection remains displayed if no one reports it as collected: 3 to 60 minutes, standard 15.

Numbers in the left column remain displayed for significantly longer—they only disappear after four hours. This ensures that no guest loses their number while the kitchen is working.

If the display freezes

The message Connection interrupted — Display may not be up to date will then appear at the top. This is a network problem on the screen, not a malfunction of your cash register.
