Download time tracking exports

How to download time tracking exports in Web Desk

In the web desk, navigate to Employees and open the Export menu in the header. It contains four reports: Timesheet, DATEV Payroll Export, Minimum Wage Act (MiLoG) Statement, and Compliance Report. During the download, the system will display "Creating export…" and then the download will start.

Time tracking is a beta feature. Exports are only visible with beta access for your location or account, or with the Max plan, time tracking enabled, and if you are the owner or have the "Manage Time Tracking" permission.

Time tracking and compliance report

The timesheet uses the time period and employee from the filter row and loads a PDF with all completed entries for each employee, including gross, break, and net hours, wages, and bonuses. The compliance report opens the Working Time Act (ArbZG) compliance report dialog for the selected time period, displaying the key figures "Total entries" and "Violations," and allowing filtering by warning, violation, and type.

DATEV payroll export and MiLoG compliance

Both exports cover a full calendar month: After clicking, the "Select payroll month" dialog appears with the fields "Month" and "Year," which is confirmed by clicking "Export." The DATEV payroll export delivers a CSV file with the columns "Personnel number," "Wage type," "Hours," "Factor," "Gross," and "Document date" for DATEV Payroll & Salary. The MiLoG (Minimum Wage Act) statement generates a PDF for each employee, including the hourly rate and information on the minimum wage.

Maintain master data first

Before exporting payroll to DATEV, open the "Edit Employee" dialog under "Employees › Manage Employees" and enter the employee number and gross hourly rate in the "Payroll & Accounting" section. Employees without this information will be skipped.
