Manage TSE
This is how you activate the TSE (Technical Security Device) for KassenSichV compliance, export DSFinV-K data and transmit it to the tax office.
What is the TSE?
The Technical Security Device (TSE) has been legally required for all electronic cash registers in Germany since January 1, 2020 (Cash Register Security Ordinance, §146a AO). It cryptographically signs each order — this allows the tax office to prove that no entries have been subsequently altered or deleted.
Servire uses the certified cloud TSE from Fiskaly — no extra hardware is required. Signing runs automatically in the background; you don't need to trigger anything manually.
TSE requires Server Pro
The TSE functions are only available with an active Server Pro subscription. In the free plan, the TSE tab will appear empty with an upgrade notification.

Pro complete
If you are still on the free plan, click on Upgrade now or go to Settings → Subscription — see Manage subscription and invoices.
Activate TSE
After completing Servire Pro, the TSE (Technical Security Equipment) is activated automatically upon the first receipt printout — you don't need to activate it manually. Servire registers the restaurant with Fiskaly, applies for the certificate, and initializes the TSE in the background. This takes only a few seconds.
The very first receipt after Pro activation can take 5–10 seconds — Servire retrieves the TSE certificate during this time. All subsequent receipts are signed in a fraction of a second.
What you see in the TSE tab
In the active TSE tab you will find:
-
TSE Status — connected, certificate valid until, last signature
-
Serial Number and Public Key of the TSE — for the tax office during audits
-
DSFinV-K Export — complete data export in the official format
-
TSE Transmission to the Tax Office — electronic connection (in preparation)
Export DSFinV-K
In this tab, you can trigger the DSFinV-K export for any desired period — a ZIP file containing all cash register data in the structure specified by the tax office. You will receive an email with the download link as soon as the generation is complete (this may take a few minutes for longer periods).
When do I need the DSFinV-K export?
At the request of the tax office during a cash register inspection or external audit. Servire recommends: a test export immediately after completing the Pro version, so you know where the button is if needed.
TSE transmission obligation
From January 1, 2026, cash registers must transmit the TSE data electronically to the tax office (Federal Fiscal Court ruling). Servire is currently expanding the direct connection — as soon as the interface is live, the transmission will run automatically, you don't have to do anything.
During a tax audit, the auditor may request supporting documents, DSFinV-K export data, and TSE data. Servire retains all necessary data for 10 years — in accordance with legal retention requirements.
