Servire: The POS system for your hospitality business
Get started

The app says "No menu available".

What to do if the cash register does not accept an order.

This message is not a malfunction, but a requirement: Without a menu containing items, the cash register cannot accept an order. During normal operation, this usually has one of four causes.

Check in this order

  1. Is this the correct location? Tap the restaurant name in the header at the top. If you have multiple locations, the POS system might be at the wrong one. This is the most common reason if it was working yesterday.

  2. Is a menu set up and active? Open Menu in the web desk. A deactivated menu won't count.

  3. Does the menu have categories with items? An empty menu is treated as if it doesn't exist.

  4. Is there a table area? If No area set up is displayed in the web desk, create one using Create Area. Without an area, there's no table plan and therefore no tables to tap.

Then reload the POS app: close it and reopen it.

If you cannot log back in after logging out

Log in with your email address and password, not your PIN. The PIN will only work after your device has been connected to the restaurant once. If you've forgotten your password, reset it using the Forgot your password? link.
