Type of consumption and pre-selection at checkout
The payments section in the web desk: Set the consumption type or let the staff choose it, pre-select the payment method and receipt.
In the Payments section, you control how the payment screen of the POS app starts: whether staff select the type of meal or it is preset, which payment method and receipt type are preselected, and which receipt options are offered. In the web desk, open Settings → Restaurant and click the pencil icon in the Payments section.
Consumption at the table and at the counter
You can set the consumption type (dine-in or takeaway) separately for two situations: Dining at a table applies to orders placed at a table, Counter-side to the express checkout. Each situation has three modes: Staff selects displays the selection at checkout—next to which you specify which option is pre-selected. Always Dine-in and Always Takeaway are fixed; the selection then disappears completely from the cash register.
The method of consumption determines the tax rate for each item—usually 19% for in-house and 7% for takeaway. Only select a fixed mode if your business always sells in this way, for example, "Always Takeaway" for food trucks and stands without seating. Previously issued receipts remain unchanged.
Preselection during billing
Payment Method determines which payment method is highlighted when the payment screen opens, for example, cash — or "No Preselection". Receipt works like the consumption type: With "Staff Selects", the staff taps the receipt type; the option next to it is pre-selected. A fixed mode like "Always Print" or "Always QR Code" hides the selection. If no printer is set up on the device, the apps still allow the choice and pre-select the QR code.
Below, you can enable two additional options for the payment screen: Offer receipt and Offer download QR code. When disabled, the respective option disappears; if both are disabled, the "Receipt Info" section is removed entirely. You can also specify whether each option is pre-selected.
Voucher sales at the checkout
Here you specify whether the voucher type is selectable when selling vouchers (otherwise only multi-purpose vouchers will be sold) and whether the voucher scanner opens automatically when redeeming a voucher.
Only those with the "Change payment settings" right may change these settings.
