Set consumption method and payment method
Specify how the payment screen starts at tables and counters.
You need the employee right to Change payment settings.
In the Web desk → Settings → POS, open the Payments section. Open the pencil icon. The details are all listed under Settlement.
Choose dining option and payment method
Set the consumption method separately for table dining and counter dining. Then select a payment method and confirm with Save.
Let staff choose or specify a fixed number

Staff Selects: Staff can switch between in-house and takeaway when processing payments. Under Preselected, you define the default setting.

Always In-House or Always Takeaway: This selection is no longer required at the checkout. The fixed setting applies to each situation.
The method of consumption determines which tax rate is applied to the item. Only select a fixed rate if it suits your sales strategy.
Preselect payment method
Select an active payment method, for example, Cash. An empty pre-selection is not possible. This pre-selection does not relieve staff of the responsibility of selecting other available payment methods. If the selected payment method is not available on the device, the POS apps will use an available alternative.
