Print online orders at checkout
Which cash register prints the receipts from the guest app, order terminal and Uber Eats if you don't use a print center.
Prerequisite: Only applies without a print center. In hub mode, the Servire Hub prints the online orders; the switch is then missing.
Orders not placed at the cash register are printed by a POS system with Print Online Orders enabled: orders from the guest app, the ordering kiosk, and Uber Eats. The POS system prints kitchen slips as if they were their own order, as well as cancellation slips for these orders. If an unpaid order is declined or canceled, the kitchen receives a cancellation slip. If a printer is set to Online Orders, the POS system also prints a summary slip for each order and cancellation: Define what a printer prints.
Check switches
Open Overview (house icon in the top left) → Settings → Printers. Below the printer list, you'll find Print online orders. It's enabled by default.
This switch applies only to this device. If multiple cash registers have it activated, only one of them will print each order. The same cash register also prints the Z-report and employee reports when a shift ends automatically and automatic report printing is enabled: Set up automatic shifts.
A cash register must be running: The cash register will only print as long as the cash register app is open and in the foreground and a printer is set up. If neither such a cash register nor a print center is running, Servire will not accept new orders from the guest app or the ordering terminal, and Uber Eats will be paused. This ensures that no order goes unprinted.
