Cancel your Server Pro subscription
How to cancel your Servire Pro subscription — can be cancelled monthly, without a minimum term
The Server Pro subscription runs monthly and can be cancelled at any time at the end of the current billing period. There is no minimum term and no notice period beyond the end of the month.
Data will be retained
After the billing period ends, the Pro functions will be deactivated (TSE, DSFinV-K export, DATEV export, email sending). Your data will remain fully intact and accessible for reading.
Here's how to cancel your subscription
Step 1: Log in to the web desk
Open desk.servire.de and log in. Select the restaurant whose subscription you wish to cancel.
Step 2: Navigate to the subscription settings
Click on Settings in the navigation bar and select the Subscription tab.
Step 3: Start the cancellation process
Click on Cancel subscription. You will be redirected to Stripe's customer portal, where the cancellation will be processed securely.
Step 4: Confirm cancellation
In the Stripe customer portal, you can see your current plan and the date your subscription expires. Confirm the cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email.
What happens after the termination?
Until the end of the billing period
All Pro features remain active. You can continue to use the POS app as usual — signing receipts, exporting data, sending emails.
After the end of the billing period
The account will automatically switch to the free plan. The following features will then be deactivated:

Email delivery of invoices

E-invoices (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD)

Stripe card payments (if active)

Service POS

Reservation management

Employee time tracking
Basic functions (orders, table plan, menus, statistics) will remain available.
What happens to my data?
All your data will be fully preserved — orders, receipts, statistics, employees, menus. You can still view them in the web desk and download old exports.
Book again
If you wish to reactivate the Pro subscription later, you can do so at any time via Settings → Subscription → Book Service Pro. You will only be charged from the new booking date onwards, with no retroactive costs.
Important for businesses subject to the German Cash Register Security Ordinance (KassenSichV).
If you are using Servire for your point-of-sale system, please note: After termination, you will no longer be able to generate new TSE-signed receipts. The POS app will notify you of this as soon as you open it without an active TSE.
If your business is subject to record-keeping requirements in Germany (§146a AO), you must ensure, before terminating your contract, that either an alternative POS system with a TSE is in place or that you are no longer recording any sales.
Termination of business operations
When closing your business, you should first export all data (DSFinV-K, DATEV, PDFs of the Z-reports) and update your cash register notification to the tax office. Only then should you cancel your Pro subscription.
