Cancel subscription

How to cancel your subscription — can be cancelled monthly, without a minimum term

The subscription runs monthly and can be cancelled at any time at the end of the current billing period. There is no minimum term. If you would prefer to pay less instead of cancelling entirely, you can switch to a smaller plan under Settings → Subscription—for example, from Pro (€59) to Solo (€39) if one cash register is sufficient.

Here's how to cancel your subscription

Log in to the web desk at desk.servire.de and open Settings → Subscription. In your restaurant's row, click the three-dot menu and select Cancel. You will be redirected to the Stripe customer portal, where you can confirm the cancellation and receive a confirmation email. Only the owner can manage the subscription.

What happens after the termination?

Everything will remain active until the end of the billing period. After that, the restaurant will switch to the Free plan. This will discontinue features such as:

  • TSE signing of new receipts
  • DSFinV-K export
  • DATEV export
  • Email delivery of invoices and e-invoices (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD)
  • Card payments via Stripe

Basic functions such as orders, table plans, menus, and statistics will remain available. Your data will be fully retained and can still be viewed in the web portal.

Reactivate

If your subscription is cancelled, the Reactivate button will appear in the subscription row. If you don't have an active subscription, you can subscribe to a new one via Subscribe — without any retroactive charges.

Important for businesses subject to the German Cash Register Security Ordinance (KassenSichV).

After switching to the free plan, it is no longer possible to generate new TSE-signed receipts. If your business is subject to record-keeping requirements (§ 146a AO), please ensure beforehand that an alternative POS system with TSE is available. If you cease operations, first export all data (DSFinV-K, DATEV, Z-reports) and update your POS system registration with the tax office.
